Little Mermaid | Illustration Project
In this project, Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale The Little Mermaid has been reimagined with a modern perspective. The story has been updated and enriched with a captivating narrative to engage today’s young readers.

While AI-assisted content generation was used to enhance the fluidity of the text, it was carefully revised to maintain originality and authenticity. However, all illustrations were created entirely by hand using digital illustration techniques. From character design to scene composition, every detail was meticulously crafted to evoke emotion and bring the story’s atmosphere to life.

This project showcases how a classic tale can be revitalized through contemporary techniques. By combining traditional illustration with AI-assisted storytelling, this book serves as an inspiring example of innovative approaches in children’s literature.
